About the owners
Chris & Sheila consider themselves very lucky to live where they do. When you see the passion and creativity that have been poured into their home, their land, their craft courses and now their yurt, it's hard not to share the feeling of being blessed to be in this part of the world. They work hard to get the most from the land and their surroundings, making use of even the neglected fruit trees of the old Burlingham Hall gardens, which turned out to be perfect for bees.

By car - For SATNAV use The Green (or Burlingham Green) NR13 4SZ
Burlingham is signed off the A47 Norwich to Yarmouth Road, about 2 miles the Norwich side of Acle. The Green is a shortish lane with maybe a dozen houses. Do not bother to look for house names/numbers - go to the apparent end and then keep on going down the private drive that is an extension to the roadway. Fear not, it goes nowhere else.
In the area
Burlingham Hall is in a beautiful area with the broads on one side and the coast on the other. There are miles and miles of walking trails (some of them, if you're feeling hearty, go near some great pubs) and cycle routes. If you fancy something quite literally more constructive take a look at...

At Burlingham
You'll need to bring your own supplies for the yurt, and a cool box, but a few things can be purchased on site. As well as all its non-edible output, Burlingham produces some fantastic honey and a wide variety of jellies and herbs. Thanks to popular demand they have now begun to produce their apple jelly in both traditional and "hint of clove" flavour.
