Glamping information

Each lodge can sleep 6 people in a King-sized Bed, two single beds (each has a double sized duvet) and a Double Cabin Bed (two adults can happily share this cosy space).
There is a £25 supplement for dogs paid on departure (per dog per stay not per night) and a maximum of two dogs per lodge. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times.

  • For toddlers and babies there is a change mat, a high chair, a toddler loo seat and removable sides for the cabin bed to convert it into a cot

Cedar wood hot tub one hour session £60 for up to 6 people or £45 for 2 people
The hot tub is positioned on its very own deck above the lake, with views out across the valley towards the sea and setting sun. It is somewhat away from the lodges, on its own terrace, with its own changing room and outdoor shower. Choose from a one hour Friday sunset slot or 10am, 2.30pm, 4pm or sunset slot on Saturday/Sunday (sunset slots will vary throughout the season). 

  • Cosy woodburners
    Wood-burning stove with a generous oven and the stove top for heating kettles
  • The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery (including melamine for the little ones) and glassware, plus fresh herbs and essential condiments
  • Each lodge also has its own Kadai BBQ and picnic furniture situated on the hillside, above the lodge, with amazing views of the valley and sea. BBQ utensils are provided and BBQ baskets, which include Charcoal and marshmallows, are available to order
  • Each lodge has a small coolbox with ice bricks that can be replenished at any time from the freezer in The Larder. There is also a shelf within the Larder fridge for each lodge
  • The bathroom at Longlands
    Each lodge has its own en-suite shower cabin. Hot water is generated from a wood burning boiler within the shower room, which feeds the shower, basin and kitchen sink. Your hosts provide towels, bath mat and a range of natural aromatherapy bath products including shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion
  • A separate en-suite wash room houses the fully plumbed loo and wash basin. Loo paper, cotton wool, hand towel, hand soap and hand cream are all provided as well as electric lamps
  • Each lodge is equipped with washing up liquid, sponges, cloths, brushes, and even washing up gloves! Also included are tea towels, hand towel, kitchen, roll, clingfilm, foil and rubbish bags
  • The wood burning stove keeps the lodge toasty warm in all weathers and all the wood, firelighters and matches that guests should need are provided
  • Paraffin lamps, candle lamps, rechargeable LED lamps and torches all provided
  • Each bed has a 4.5+9 tog duvet so you can decide how warm or cool you want your bed to be. The single beds have double duvets. All bed linen is provided: fleecy warm covers for the children’s beds and luxurious Egyptian Cotton bed linen from the White Company for the King Bed. The lodges also have blankets and hot water bottles, should you need them

  • Games on the deck at Longlands
    The big blanket box in the living area is full of family favourite board games
  • There is a covered games area with table tennis, giant Jenga, badminton and boules, plus a football area with goal and cricket net!  
  • You can boat on the lake and there are stream sides walk and nature trails through the woods. 
Kids and pets are both welcome. Max two dogs per lodge at £25 per dog per stay, paid at the end of your stay. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
