Penn Bergeyn - Write-ups

Natural and cosy double shepherd's hut

Shhh…this is a low noise paddock! Stock the fridge, pull up a log and settle in for a low-key cookout around the campfire

In a restful little field, down by a stream there are two properly hidden huts linked by a wooden walkway. "The living one” has a kitchen, sitting area and bathroom and “the sleeping one” has a comfy king size bed. Save your sheepskin boots for exploring the great outdoors - the huts have underfloor heating  in them! A cock-a-doodle doo from the farm is the only wakeup call and a big stable door means you can watch the sun rise from your bed. Make a picnic to carry off to a green spot of your choice or cook some of Tony and Soizig’s home reared bangers on the campfire with a million stars overhead and a locally pressed cider in hand - you'll be truly happy campers.

There are long trails to wander down in Dartmoor National Park and we hear the woods there are jam packed with wild blueberries! Prefer to cycle? There’s a path following the river Exe with two lovely pub-shaped pit stops along the way.
