  • Use of the private wood-fired hot tub and sauna is included in your stay
  • Please bring a torch, wellies, beach towels, slippers, wet weather gear, a dog bed if you're bringing a furry friend
  • At night, the flashing light of Start Point lighthouse can be seen from the main living area
  • You are not isolated here – your hosts live next door and it is possible to hear the road in the distance
  • Initial firewood is provided for the hot tub and sauna and more available to purchase on site for £20 for one large bin of wood
  • Please bring your own firewood for the indoor log burner - a small initial basket will be provided in the winter months
  • The owners may be available to help lighting the hot tub for the first time before 6pm prior to arrangement. Otherwise there are instructions which you can follow to do it without help. Please be aware that it takes between 2-30 and 4 hours to heat depending on the outside temperature

  • The main source of heat comes from the wood burner. During the winter months (generally between October - March), the wood burner will be lit at 2pm on the day of arrival and maintained until 5pm with a bucket of wood left to keep it stoked
