Sika Glamping Information
- Check in: 3 pm
- Check out: 10 am
- Please bring wellies, waterproof/Wind-proof clothing, long trousers
- There will be the occasional walker (very few) as well as the owners of the livery horses in the field (but they will not bring their cars to the site).
- Visitors may occasionally hear the distant boom of military activity near Lulworth (approx. 7 miles away)
- There are a couple of small ponds about 50 metres away.
- There are two or three road-lights about 1 mile in the distance.
- There is some traffic noise (depending on wind direction) from a stretch road about half a mile away (mainly obscured by trees)
Kitchen within the hut with:
- Gas hob
- Belfast sink
Private Kadai fire bowl/barbecue outside
Cool box located in the adjacent wood shed (just a few paces away)
In the bathroom hut:
- Power shower (gas)
- Basin
- Composting loo
Heating - Woodburner (logs provided)
Lighting - Solar/battery powered - 3 points in the hut, and one in the bathroom hut. Large candles also provided for external lanterns
Bedding - Bed made up with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets and goose-down duvets. Extra blankets also available
Hammock - An outdoor hammock to lounge in
Towels - Egyptian cotton towels provided
Plug sockets - USB charging port by the table
- Guests are welcome to use the tennis court (by arrangement) rackets etc. provided
- Large selection of traditional board games and playing cards
- Playing cards, books by local authors, maps and guide books
- Good signal for calls on most networks (3g/4g, ie. internet/data, signal is patchy)
- Roberts radio with extra re-chargeable batteries
