By bus

By car - Beware Satnav and follow directions below!
Follow the A40 and M40 westbound, leave at Junction 2 (signposted A366 Beaconsfield), or if following the M25 then leave at Junction 16 westbound. Turn left at the first roundabout (signposted A40 High Wycombe). Go right at the next roundabout (signposted A355 Amersham) then follow road for 3 miles. Go left at the next roundabout (signposted A413 Aylesbury) then follow the road for 7 miles. Go right at the final roundabout (signposted Wendover, Tring). Take the first right after the Wendover boundary sign (Church Lane). If using SatNav, we are off 'South Street'/'London Rd', down Church Lane, we are the tall wooden gates (with green sign), on left side across from St. Mary's Church, about 20m past Heron Path. We are tucked away and no one knows where we are, so text or call upon arrival and the owners will meet you there to unlock gates.
Aylesbury is the nearest primary route destination. Wendover is 5 miles (8km) south of Aylesbury and it’s simplest to drive to the southern end of Wendover on the A413 and then double back. Take a sharp left at the roundabout (signposted Wendover, Tring). Take the first right after the Wendover boundary sign (Church Lane). Follow the lane just past the church lytch gate and park in the bay on the left by the wooden gates. Karen and David will meet you there! Parking is a few minutes walk from each space at Chiltern Yurt Retreat.
By train
The nearest train station is Wendover, just 5 minutes' walk away from Chiltern Yurt Retreat. You can get a train directly from Marylebone, or take the Metropolitan line to Amersham tube station and catch a train from there.
Walking Directions from Train Station to Chiltern Yurt Retreat
Outside the Train Station turn right, up to main road (Ellesborough Rd) Turn left past Shoulder of Mutton pub on your left, Then at 1st roundabout take a right on South St., past King and Queen pub, Witchell and Chapel Ln. (All on your left). Then take a left on Church Ln, pond on your left, St. Mary's Church on your right, 20m past Heron Path sign, Then on your left are Tall Wooden Gates (with green sign). This is your entrance. Text or call and someone will be there to meet you.
