Thornes Farm Shop is about 1.5 miles away by road or via field. Offers a butchery, deli and fresh fruit and vegetables. There is a popular café on site and strawberry and raspberry picking when in season. There is also Cheriton Fitzpaine Community Shop 1 mile away.

The Ring of Bells - just over a mile from Dunscombe Farm, in Cheriton Fitzpaine. This lovely village pub serves excellent food, particularly the Sunday Lunch.
The Cadeleigh Arms (3 miles) - a regularly changing menu sourcing and using produce from the South West with an ethos of local, sustainable and quality.
The Fishermans Cot (4 miles) - overlooking the River Exe with a beer garden on the river bank and extensive menu.
Bickleigh Mill (4 miles) - very popular with evening meals on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only and Sunday lunch - booking advisable.
The Beer Engine (6 miles) - a cosy gastro pub with its own working brewery. Serving an extensive menu – booking is advisable.
The Red Lion (5 miles) - a popular pub serving pub food in the village of Shobrooke.
There are also plenty of eateries in Crediton, Tiverton and Exeter with a good range of takeaways available in Crediton, a 20 minute drive away.
