Meet David & Sarah
David has lived at Dunscombe Farm for 20 years and Sarah grew up on a local mixed farm in the neighbourhood. Farming is their passion and want guests to enjoy their piece of paradise as much as they do. David loves the wildlife that the farm has to offer and likes to do his bit for conservation by planting trees on a regular basis.
Wildlife & Environment
Dunscombe Farm is in the heart of Mid Devon and is comprised of 170 acres of farmland. The Tree Tent is located a quarter of a mile from the highway, down the farm lane in a peaceful, secluded wooded area with a babbling stream.
David and Sarah have a flock of 330 Dorset Sheep on the farm, which they have built up over the past few years, and two Shetland ponies called Foxy and Dee Dee. You can also expect to see owls, squirrels, pheasants, rabbits, and the occasional fox and deer.
