The important stuff
- Check in: 3 pm
- Check out: 10 am
- Buck's Coppice is self-check in. The owners will send detailed instruction prior to arrival with how to access the cabin
- Bring wellies, a torch, slippers and a swimming costume for wild swimming in the lake. Swimming is at your own risk! The large deck is fully fenced off from the lake with a swimming pool fence for safety
- In summer, on especially hot days, horseflies, midges and mosquitoes can be a nuisance around the lake. There is insect repellant in the bathroom cabinet you are welcome to use
- Kindling provided to get the fire going and a bucket of smokeless ovals
- Please take off your shoes at the door of the cabin
- 4G mobile phone signal outside cabin. No WiFi
- Sleeping arrangements
- One king-sized bed and sofa bed suitable for two children
Extra space available
Space for 1 baby no charge. please bring your own travel cot and equipment
Space for 2 children no charge. on a double sofa bed in the living room
Cooking
- Oven and gab hobs
- Fridge
- Kitchen sink for washing up
- Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery provided
- Drinking water is filtered from the lake and safe to drink
Washing
- Bathroom with flushing toilet and hot shower (water can take a minute to heat up)
Heating, lighting & bedding
- Woodburner (in colder, winter months may take a while to heat up the cabin)
- Bed linen and towels provided
- Solar powered lighting inside the cabin. Motion sensor outdoor lighting
- 240v plug sockets
