Welcome to The Sounds of the Seasons, immersive seasonal recordings from A Life More Wild. In these special episodes, we journey into some of the UK’s most treasured landscapes, capturing the sounds and stories of the natural world through the people who know them best.
In our first episode, we travel to Eryri National Park for The Sounds of Spring, following Rhys, a shepherd from Dolgellau, as he takes his flock out into the wind and rain of a typical spring day in Wales. Through bleating sheep and shifting weather, it’s a chance to experience the season in a completely different way.
Over the coming months, we’ll be working with our charity partner Campaign for National Parks to celebrate the changing seasons and the landscapes that shape them.
