Pricing Analyst

Is it you we’re looking for?

We’re looking for a highly analytical data whiz to join the team and up-load pricing for all our owners. The volume of pricing varies week to week so the candidate needs to be able to be flexible. This could be from 4 hours to a full day a week (to be confirmed). 

The successful candidate needs to be someone whose numeracy and spreadsheet skills are second to none. The person needs to be efficient and accurate, so they can work out often complex pricing structures for our owners, and upload them to the Canopy & Stars website. This position would suit a Business or Maths student or someone with very strong numeracy and analytical skills and an interest in business.

For the right candidate this is an amazing opportunity to:

Project Details

You will be responsible for entering all our owner pricing into our website. This will entail:

• Liaising with owners to clarify the pricing structure they want

• Using spreadsheets to translate owner requirements and work out seasonal variation, discount rules, and complex pricing structures

• Uploading pricing to the website via our content management system

• Following up with the owner and the owner support team for sign off and to ensure accuracy.

You will be responsible to achieving a 100% accuracy, ensuring no compensation is incurred to inaccurate pricing uploads or miss-communications. You will also be required to offer admin support across the team as required.

There will be an end of placement deliverable in the form of a report that outlines the observed pricing trends and recommendations for future pricing strategies. Feeding all of your new found expertise back into our business so we can continually improve our customer service and pricing strategy.

Terms & benefits

• Salary - £8.50 per hour

 Part time, 4-8 hours per week (needs to be flexible in response to business needs)
