Welcome to Canopy & Stars, a collection of over 700 spaces of the most wild and wonderful spaces to go glamping in the UK. We’re incredibly selective when we look for glamping holidays, and only take on around 20% of applications. Only the most surprising, creative, and comfortable places make it to our collection. We have treehouses with rooftop saunas, cabins with hot tubs, hanging pods, off-grid bothies, amazing beehives and much more. If you’re looking for a life more wild anywhere from the Highlands to the Isles of Scilly, you’ll find it here.
Here at Canopy & Stars, we’re a small, independent travel company that focuses on places to stay in nature that are as unique as we are. We’re part family, part employee owned, with a focus on sustainability. We aim to make a positive impact on the world with all our choices, and only work with owners who’ve put their heart and soul into their space. Which means when you book through us, we ensure you’ve been matched with your perfect stay. Glamping isn’t just a holiday, it’s a way to live a life more wild: A treehouse with a rooftop sauna, a riverside cabin for your inner lumberjack, shepherd's huts tending mountain views and yurts with stargazing skylights and rippling canvas.
We love how glamping in Devon brings you as close as possible to all the wonderful nature spots in the region. This is our guide to why we love glamping in Devon, including our favourite beaches, walks, annual events, and awesome pubs.
What can I do at these spaces? What will I do on a glamping holiday? Here’s where the fun part comes in. Read books on treehouse verandas, bathe in hot tubs, outdoor baths, or stone tubs with rainfall showers. Cook food with locally foraged ingredients, go hiking across wild moors, stargaze in un-polluted night skies. Fish, forage, or go wildlife spotting. Swim wild rivers, climb trees on mountain crags. Go wild, in wild spaces.
How do I find the perfect space for me? Nowadays, there’s plenty of places to look to go glamping with. So how do you pick? There’s several things that separate us from our competitors. One of which, is our dedicated customer service. Confused if the property is right for you? Can’t find what you’re looking for? Speak to one of our staff – and get matched with your dream space.
What does sustainability mean when it comes to glamping? Canopy and Stars has been finding special spaces to go glamping in the UK since 2010. Along the way we’ve met owners who’ve drilled boreholes, set up solar panels, rewilded overly manicured green spaces, or chosen their materials from sustainable sources. We advise new owners on how they can adapt their spaces to make every difference possible to emissions when glamping.
What's our expertise? Our inspectors have 12 years’ experience sussing out unique glamping spaces, in the UK and in Europe. We use that to gauge the ease with which you can access wild spaces, be accommodated to the highest standards, make use of all the features available in our spaces. Nearly 200,000 Guests (and a staggering 9,000 dogs) have now used our collection to get outdoors. We’re not just a glamping company – we’re the glamping company.
We're majority employee owned, which means we all get a say in how the business is run.
Our Charitable Trust uses 24% ownership of the company to support environmental causes
We're committing to raise £50,000 by 2027 to help protect nature in our national parks.
