Checklist of things to include in your space
Setting up your glamping interior involves considerations of both style and functionality. Your interior is a chance to express yourself a bit and add the personality and flair that make a really great space, but you also need to make sure that guests will have everything they need. In many cases, it’s possible to address both at the same time.
From our industry experience, working with owners and speaking to our guests, we would recommend including as many of the below in your glamping space’s interior as possible. There will be some that don’t apply and some extra touches of your own of course, but having a good look at this list will give you a great base to build on.
- Seating – enough dining and relaxing seating for the number of people your space sleeps
- Cushions
- Blankets
- Lamps
- Books
- Rug
- Board games and cards
- Plants
- Sink + plug
- Dish drying rack
- Enough cutlery for guests including teaspoons, dessert spoons, knives & forks
- Mugs
- Water glasses
- Wine glasses
- Enough plates and bowls for guests
- Tea towels and hand towels
- Oven gloves
- Bottle opener & corkscrew
- Tin opener
- Vegetable peeler
- Kitchen bin
- Recycling bin
- Food waste bin
- Cooking essentials: salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee. Additional touches could include herbal teas, fresh milk, butter, herbs
- Cutting knives and a chopping board
- Kettle
- Teapot
- Toaster (or not if recommending an oven grill)
- Cafetiere or something similar
- Washing up liquid, cleaning equipment & hand soap (our preferred brand is Ecover)
- Cooking pans
- Cooking utensils and serving utensils

- Bathrobes, especially if your space has an outdoor bathroom and/or a hot tub
