When we inspect a dog-friendly cabin, we go all in. We get the hot tub going, light the fire and sometimes even bring our own dog along to test the walks. 

We check that muddy paws are welcome, that there’s somewhere to dry off after those inevitable river dips, and that the view from the tub is worth the trip. If it doesn’t make tails wag, it doesn’t join the collection.
