When we think of glamping, we picture hot tubs, crackling campfires, and countryside calm. But with UK summers getting warmer and heatwaves more frequent, glamping with a swimming pool is fast becoming the ultimate summer luxury.
Whether you’re after an energising morning dip, a cool-down after a long hike, or a lazy float beneath the sun, our glamping places with pools deliver.
Treehouse glamping – Indoor heated pool – Family-friendly retreat
Immersed in the forest overlooking the Mendip Hills, The Pennard Hide is a treetop escape with access to a beautiful indoor heated pool, perfect a few lengths first thing for a refreshing wake up, or for dipping in after woodland walks and Somerset adventuring.
By day, explore nearby vineyards and countryside trails, and by night, gather on the fairy-lit deck for pizza from the wood-fired oven. The pool, housed in a converted barn and kept at a toasty 29–30°C, makes it a standout spot.
Eco pool – Dome glamping – Creative escapes
Loveland Farm is a beautiful smallholding on the Hartland Peninsula in North Devon with nine stylish geodomes. As if a stunning hillside with sea views wasn’t enough, the owners have added a luxurious 11-metre eco-swimming pool open daily from 9.30am - 7pm. Set in a light, airy barn conversion with serious design credentials, it’s something truly special, containing no chemicals and heated by a woodchip-fired biomass.
As well as swimming, the owners offer food hampers and run courses on site including mushroom growing, silversmithing and pottery. Nearby you can visit Lundy Island, cycle the Tarka Trail, visit picturesque Clovelly or scamper on the beach at Sandymouth.
Poolside glamping – BBQ ready – Garden hideaway
Hidden away in the dreamy grounds of Yarlington House, these colourful yurts have been cheerfully reimagined by Bristol-based artist Jessie de Salis. Warm summer days invite leisurely dips in the estate’s outdoor pool, followed by strolls through the walled gardens or lawn games on the grass. There’s also a BBQ for sizzling up quality Somerset sausages from the local farm shop to complete that long, lazy holiday vibe.
Castle Cary is just a short drive away for market browsing and pub lunches, while cider farms and scenic walks are dotted all around. Whether you’re splashing about or sipping an ice-cold pint poolside, this is the West Country at her finest.
Family glamping – Indoor pool – Yorkshire views
This West Yorkshire glamping site combines rural charm with standout facilities, including a spacious indoor swimming pool, sauna, and games room. Heated to 31–32°C, the pool is a welcome luxury after a day exploring the Holme Valley or the Peak District.
Stay in cosy yurts or a shepherd’s hut surrounded by woodland, soak in your private hot tub, then fire up the BBQ with supplies from the on-site farm shop. With scenic walks, pretty villages and major attractions like Chatsworth and York nearby, it’s an ideal balance of fun and relaxation.
Private infinity pool – Luxury cabin – Woodland wellness
Set in 12 acres of private Devonshire woodland, The Spa features a stunning private infinity pool with hydrotherapy loungers, exclusively yours. Designed for total immersion in nature and relaxation, it also includes a cedar-glass sauna, woodland waterfall shower and stone tub.
Nordic styling, lush planting and optional spa treatments take this beyond glamping and into boutique retreat territory. If you’re looking for luxury glamping with a pool, it doesn’t get better than this.
Eco village – Heated pool – Woodland sauna
Rewild yourself at Campwell Farm near Bath, a glampsite of bell tents and a woodland cabin, where you can reconnect with nature, and enjoy a proper swim while you’re at it. Alongside wild swimming spots, there’s a heated indoor pool on the farm, warmed by eco-friendly wood pellets. After a few lengths, wind down in the wood-fired sauna with views across the countryside, then repeat for as long as you please.
You can book bushcraft workshops, forest bathing, yoga or even try your hand at sheep herding. The owners’ ethos is to inspire guests to live more simple, natural, adventurous lives and they’ve nailed it – the whole place feels like a joyful escape from reality.
