Glamping Holidays in Scotland

Whether you're looking for a cabin on the Malt Whisky Trail, an Edinburgh canal boat base to explore to the city or a family treehouse cabin on the beach, here at Canopy & Stars we've got the perfect short break in Scotland for you. Fancy yourself a hardy adventurer? Try this converted fire truck in Aviemore's snowy winters. Prefer a touch of luxury? Consider a swish, architect-designed cabin on the tip of Skye instead. Or if it's the sights you're after, we've got plenty of places with stunning loch views, and even a Highland yurt near the world's biggest bottle of single malt whisky...

Can't wait to get away? Get a sneak preview of some of our Scottish outdoor holidays in our selection of short glamping videos below.

Scotland offers many places to discover life on a working farm as well as life in the treetops. Rent a chicken coop and collect your own eggs at a treehouse on the beach, or climb up to a George Clarke-approved treehouse on a Dumfries sheep farm.

Our hunt for cabins in Scotland has taught us that cabins really do come in all shapes and sizes - as well as traditional squarish cabins, we've got tin bothies and even a round cabin with roof fashioned from an upturned boat.

Our collection of places on wheels in Scotland vary from a selection of beautifully furnished French roulottes surrounding a small loch on the Scottish Borders to a former Fire Service truck up in Aviemore, filled with salvaged curiosities.

Even up in the wild mountains of Scotland can you stay cosy under canvas - take the whole family to stay in sturdy safari tents on a beach-side farm or escape to a remote yurt in the Cairngorms for a romantic retreat.

Who are you taking on your Scottish adventure?

We'd particularly recommend our Scottish places for two if you're looking for dramatic views, whether over water, mountains or both. Relax in a remote seashore cabin or laze in a lochside Gypsy wagon with hot tub.

Days out exploring Scotland's stunning coast or hills are even better in the knowledge that you've got a cosy bunk or cupboard bed to come back to, where you can re-energise for another day of even more family fun!
