Devon is winning on all fronts with two glorious coastlines, miles of rolling countryside, national parks, lashings of culture and a brilliant collection of Canopy & Stars glamping places with hot tubs. Nearly 40 of them in total, spread out over this huge county that epitomises idyllic English holidays. Devon demands that you embrace the good life in a happy montage of beach days, festivals, nature walks, and – the jam on top of your cream tea (always that way round here) – a steaming hot tub to race home to.
We’re adding more and more places with hot tubs to our collection, but our glamping breaks are about a lot more than steaming baths. We want your holiday to be completely unique, like nowhere you’ve ever stayed before. That’s why we spend so much time seeking out those indulgent details and playful touches that make a Canopy & Stars getaway so special. The blissful warmth of the hot tub is the perfect place to contemplate the particular magic of your chosen Devon glamping pad.
Always look for instructions from the owner on the specific type at the space, but here are a few tips to get your hot tub technique up to a simmer before you arrive.
Breathe in the fresh air, crack open the bubbles and make new memories. Cuddling up together in a warm outdoor hot tub under a sparkling blanket of stars will be the icing on the cake (or the skylight in the treehouse).
What’s it like to stay at a glamping place with a hot tub? Start each day with a long soak and a cuppa in the fresh morning air and end it in the same spot, clinking glasses of fizz under starry skies. Forget digital distractions, glamping holidays with hot tubs are designed for long chats and deep relaxation with epic views. Whatever the weather, you can enjoy the great outdoors for even longer and that’s what glamping is all about.
Sustainability and glamping Travel can leave a carbon footprint, there’s no getting away from it. But as a B Corp we’re committed to promoting positive change in the glamping sector. We support our owners to reduce their environmental impact and we’ve capped the number of places we have in areas at risk of overtourism. If you’d like to know more about what we do, read our impact report.
About Canopy & Stars’ expertise We’re a small, independent travel company who live and breathe glamping. We’ve been finding new and unique places for you to stay since 2010. What makes Devon so special? Devon’s diverse landscape has something for everyone. Bucket and spade lovers should head to the beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches of the south, while surfing wannabes can get their kicks in the dramatic Atlantic waves on the north coast. In the middle, there’s hiking on Dartmoor and Exmoor, shopping and culture in Exeter and more cycle routes, attractions and historic houses than you can shake a Jurassic fossil at.
