Discover space, serenity and steaming hot tubs on a glamping getaway in Suffolk. Spend carefree days strolling along sandy beaches and through nature reserves but bookend each outing with a relaxing soak in the tub. Let time slow down and stay submerged in the water until your fingers wrinkle and the stars appear above. You’ll be well-rested and well-fed in ‘The Foodie County’ so turn up hungry and get ready to try some Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses, real ales and locally grown oysters during your stay.
At Canopy & Stars we immerse you in the wilds of nature and that means giving you stunning views of the Suffolk countryside to be enjoyed from the meltingly warm vantage point of a hot tub. Or indeed from any number of other relaxing spots like hammocks, outdoor loungers, window seats and decks designed for cocktails at sundown. Most importantly, we inspect every one to make sure they meet our discerning standards.
Always look for instructions from the owner on the specific type at the space, but here are a few tips to get your hot tub technique up to a simmer before you arrive.
Breathe in the fresh air, crack open the bubbles and make new memories. Cuddling up together in a warm outdoor hot tub under a sparkling blanket of stars will be the icing on the cake (or the skylight in the treehouse).
What’s it like to stay at a glamping place with a hot tub? If your normal morning routine involves a rushed shower, a quick scroll online, a gulp of lukewarm coffee and a frantic dash to leave the house, glamping might take a bit of getting used to. Or you might surprise yourself by how quickly you adjust to birdsong as your morning wake up call, followed by the stressful decision of whether to soak in the hot tub before or after a leisurely breakfast with views over rolling fields. Basically, you’re in for a blissful wellbeing boost.
Sustainability and glamping We want to drive positive changes in the glamping sector by promoting greener, more sustainable and responsible ways of travelling. We work with our owners to help them to reduce the environmental impact of their places, we limit the amount of glamping spaces we offer in over-touristed areas and we’ve set ourselves the ambitious goal of becoming net zero by 2023. You can read more about our plans, progress and B-Corp status in our latest impact report.
About Canopy & Stars’ expertise Canopy & Stars are a small, independent travel company who lead the way in unique, outdoor holidays. We’ve been sniffing out cool quirky cabins, spectacular treehouses and cosy shepherds’ huts since 2010, so that you can experience a life more wild. We’re as picky as we are passionate and only 20% of applications we receive from new places make the cut, so can you rest assured that the ones in our collection have something very special to offer.
What makes Suffolk so special? A Suffolk glamping weekend can be experienced as a foodie treasure trail punctuated by pretty medieval villages, rolling countryside and coastal towns. Ditch constrictive waistbands for a starry dip in the hot tub afterwards, while you plan the next day’s outdoor adventures.
