About Canopy & Stars

More at Sawday's
The wild Scottish landscape feels even more expansive when viewed from a snug little shepherd’s hut. Our humble huts hark back to a simpler, pastoral way of life, but with all the amenities (and heat, this is Scotland) you need for a relaxing glamping break. You’ll find cosy sleeping nooks, wood burners and fairy-lit verandas, but most importantly you’ll be totally immersed in the majesty of nature. Perched among the rugged mountains, you’re likely to see as many Highland cattle and red deer as flocks of sheep.
We might be based in the South-West, but you don’t have to ask the Canopy & Stars team twice if they’ll go and visit shepherd’s huts in Scotland. We’ll be out the door in our hiking boots faster than you can say Northern Lights. We inspect every single one of our glamping places, staying overnight to make sure they have that magic blend of comfort, individuality and a deep connection to nature.
Choose a back to nature glamping break in the great outdoors with the indulgence of a warm outdoor tub to sink into at the end (beginning and middle) of every day.
There are things you’d pay for if you could, but nature offers them up free of charge, as long as you’re there to look for them. To make sure you are, we’ve rounded up part two of our best budget glamping spaces, so you can go in search of some of the best things.
