Sophie's weekend at Ffynone Bach

'We had a wonderful stay at Ffynnone Bach even though it was the coldest weekend in Wales so far this winter! Once the log fire was on, the tiny house was perfect and had everything we needed! The hot tub was lovely when we got it warm enough, which is an effort when it’s freezing cold out, but we were happy to spend the time tending to the fire and loved the lack of phone signal, a real technology detox! We were nervous about the outside shower but it quickly became our favourite feature! A boiling hot shower outside in the cold was beautiful. Our hosts were just a hundred yards or so away and were there if we needed anything but left us to experience the tiny house ourselves which was great!'

Emma's stay at Damselfly

'We had such a wonderful time in Heather and Gill’s beautiful cabin. We're cabin connoisseurs and this is the best we've ever stayed in. They really got the details right for an experience that left us feeling so connected to the outdoors. The walk through the orchard, past the chickens to the cabin's very own- and beautiful- garden immediately set the vibe for a chill stay. We had everything we needed to cook up great local food (including eggs from Heather and Gill's own chickens!), make pizza in the outdoor pizza oven and get a wonderfully restorative night's sleep. We appreciated the light-blocking shutters, a good shower and waking up to so many birds singing. We were sad to leave and hope to come back in summer!'

Philip's weekend at Cwtch Woodland Camp

'We had a wonderful stay at Cwtch Woodland camp. We wanted to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline and the location of Cwtch was perfect. Such a beautiful area, we will definitely be returning. The campsite itself is a lovely little world of its own. Peaceful and private. The rooms are all very comfortable, shower is warm, as is the sauna (forgot about that which was a nice surprise on arrival). Plenty of woodland to explore for children, we just needed more time at the campsite to make the most of it. Plenty of space for a large family but we would recommend umbrellas if it’s raining to get between each building, and lots of torches with plenty of batteries so you can see what you're doing.'

Jill's stay at Cwt Gwyrdd

'The owner, Lucy was friendly and welcoming and supplied us with a delicious breakfast box. We arrived to a bottle of bubbly, sweets in a jar and a vase of wildflowers. The beds in the shepherd's hut and the pod were both really comfortable. The bedding was particularly soft and luxurious (why does my bedding at home never feel like this?!). We had everything we needed in the camp - pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. We really enjoyed cooking on the open fire and the massive marshmallows in the jar were yummy! The shower in the bathroom hut was brilliant- lots of piping hot water! The surroundings are beautiful, we loved hearing the sound of the river. The camp is private and secluded. We enjoyed the short drive to the coast and walking various sections of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The scenery is stunning. We even bumped into Carol Vorderman and had a lovely chat!'
