When the scenery is as wild and dramatic as Cornwall’s, you want to spend as much time basking in your surroundings as possible. A warm, sultry soak in your own private hot tub keeps you outside in the fresh morning air, the afternoon breeze and under the stars at night. Drink in the breathtaking views as you sip a glass of something special and plan tomorrow’s adventure – surfing, hiking, cream tea sampling and another dip in that magical tub.
You spoke, we listened. We know how much you love a hot tub, so we’ve gone out of our way to find special spaces that fit the bill. We’re so dedicated to the cause that we now have more than 20 Canopy & Stars glamping places with hot tubs in Cornwall alone. In what can only be described as a terrible ordeal, we’ve personally inspected each one to make sure the water temperature is blissful, the fairy lights twinkle magically and a deliciously comfy bed is waiting to whisk you to the land of nod after your soak.
Always look for instructions from the owner on the specific type at the space, but here are a few tips to get your hot tub technique up to a simmer before you arrive.
Breathe in the fresh air, crack open the bubbles and make new memories. Cuddling up together in a warm outdoor hot tub under a sparkling blanket of stars will be the icing on the cake (or the skylight in the treehouse).
What’s it like to stay at a glamping place with a hot tub? Glamping with a hot tub ticks a lot of boxes. Not only do you get to immerse yourself in the great outdoors for hours while wearing very few clothes, it’s also a deeply relaxing experience. The combination of fresh air and warm water, sends stress dissolving into the air with the steam. Plus it’s scientifically proven (not really) that all chilled fizz just tastes better when quaffed in a hot tub. In any case, it certainly makes for an envy-inducing photo op.
Sustainability and glamping As a certified B Corp we’re leading the way when it comes to sustainability in the travel sector. We’re by no means perfect but we’re constantly working to improve our carbon footprint and we’ve pledged to become net zero by 2030. Many of our glamping spaces have features like boreholes, rewilding projects and renewable energy sources. You can find out more here about our commitment to having a positive social, cultural and environmental impact
About Canopy & Stars’ expertise We’re no corporate machine. Canopy & Stars is a small independent travel company based in buzzy Bristol. We don’t do ‘same old’, we do memorable and unique (with a healthy dose of quirky) which is why we spend so much time out on the road looking for the best glamping places to knock your hiking socks off. Our brilliant owners are our greatest asset, bringing love, creativity and usually a great story, to every single space.
What makes Cornwall so special? Cornwall is somewhere to rediscover your spirit of adventure. The wild west doesn’t do nice, polite scenery – instead it ups the ante with rugged cliffs, crashing waves and vast moors that inspire you to try something new. By the end of your glamping break you might wonder if that was really you riding the waves on a surfboard, mountain biking and extreme ziplining. If you’d rather keep things mellow, you’ve never more than 50 yards from a pasty and a cream tea.
We're majority employee owned, which means we all get a say in how the business is run.

We're committing to raise £50,000 by 2027 to help protect nature in our national parks.
