You don’t have to be riding across the steppes to enjoy a yurt holiday. The cool, curved spaces get you close to nature anywhere they set down, from the Scottish highlands to the southern tip of Spain. We’ve personally inspected every yurt in our collection, so you know that you’ll find a beautiful blend of comfort, creativity and natural connection when you stay. There are yurts with hot tubs, yurts with movie rooms, yurts in forests and yurts on beaches, each of them a round bubble of peace waiting for you.
We know that a good yurt holiday is about more than the yurt itself. When we inspect our places, we’re looking at the whole experience. Are there great views? Will you wake to deer nibbling at the hedgerows? Can you hear the sound of the sea? We only choose the ones that have a bit of magic about them, as well as all the basics for comfort and convenience, of course. If you’re struggling to choose between a yurt with a hot tub and one right on a lake shore, then get in touch with our Guest Experience Team and they’ll help you find the perfect one.
We just love getting wet and wild, so picking only five from our 50-strong outdoor baths collection was always going to be tricky, but here are our favourites.
Who we are Canopy & Stars is a small, independent company based in Bristol and made up of a lot of people who love getting outdoors on hikes, wild swims and, of course, yurt holidays. We’re employee owned, a certified B Corp and have a charitable trust which uses its share of profits to support organisations fighting climate disaster.
Why choose glamping? Choose glamping if you want to go somewhere great and get some nature time with minimal fuss and low environmental impact. It’s like camping, but with a bit of glamour, oddly enough. Meaning you don’t need to bring much, you arrive relaxed, spend a few days unwinding and go home as floppy as a pile of cooked spaghetti.
About our yurt holidays Yurt glamping with us can take you pretty far. There are yurts from the Scottish highlands to the island of Madeira. Some are secluded and romantic, some are big fun family spaces and there are even yurt camps where you can take a massive group of people for a truly special occasion. We’ve personally inspected every single one, so you can be sure you’ll have an amazing time.
We are doing our bit for the planet We know that “green travel” is a contentious phrase, but we firmly believe that there’s a way of improving the relationship between travel and the environment. We are constantly looking for ways to minimise our negative impact and maximise our positive one. You can see everything we’ve been doing, the challenges we’ve come across and our plans for the future in our impact report, which we publish and update annually.
We're majority employee owned, which means we all get a say in how the business is run.
Our Charitable Trust uses 24% ownership of the company to support environmental causes
We're committing to raise £50,000 by 2027 to help protect nature in our national parks.
