What about wheels?

When you’re in the initial stages of creating a space, there is lots to think about. How many people do I want it to sleep? Is there going to be a bath? A wood-fired hot top or a log-burner? But something else you might want to consider is, ‘how about putting my space on wheels’.

Wheels can bring you a plethora of options, with increased flexibility, scope for more creativity and the chance to better adapt your space to the seasons and its surroundings.

We have also seen in recent years, spaces on wheels getting more press coverage and higher engagement on social media.

Here are some of our popular wheeled-spaces, perfect for couples and all capturing people’s imagination:

Hinterlandes Cabin

It is a small cabin on wheels, in the lake district, with a hot tub and a very similar size to a shepherd’s hut but with a completely different feel. This space has had lots of press coverage and sells very well.

The Little Wooden House

This is an interesting twist on a shepherd’s hut style structure. A simple, small footprint, on a flatbed truck base but again,  feels totally different from a shepherd’s hut.

Clongapple

The clever design of Clongapple gives the look and feel of a cabin, despite being on wheels. Using a combination of green tin and local oak to clad the exterior gives it a more sophisticated feel to that of a more traditional shepherd's hut. The interior space feels cosy yet spacious, incorporating all the guest experience elements enabling it to cater for guests all year round.
